RE: Multi-user install wiped clean on log off

We have seen this with using roaming profiles in NT/Novell environments, check out Microsoft's site, there is details I believe on how to define when the profile gets pulled back down to the local pc, as the local settings directory is not part of a roaming profile in NT therefore it gets deleted.

I am told by our XP/NT/Novell team this is now standard behaviour of Roaming profiles in conjunction with XP/W2k and you should be able to setup a policy to say use local if it exist's, but if NT thinks for any reason the profile is corrupt it will delete it and pull down the server copy.

This is why the use of Roaming Notes is so important, we have had two executives loss work due to this very issue, lucky they are reasonable types and understood we were still in the test/pilot phase.

Hope this helps.
